Sacred Signs began as a search for a St. Michael medal to celebrate my certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).  After looking at the available medals and not liking their images or quality; I began working with a Jewelry Designer friend (www.jgrahldesign.com) to create a new treatment/image of Michael the Archangel. My goal was to create a unique medal that presents Michael the Archangel to all religions as an inspiration to those who struggle with the challenges of life.

The creative process was, as always, messy, time consuming and somewhat contentious.  Meanwhile, life was in session with jobs, relationships and my deployment to Mississippi for Hurricane Katrina.

Sacred Signs and our Michael the Archangel medal are the result of this process and my commitment to search across times and cultures to select and craft distinctive jewelry from Historic, Religious and Mythical Symbols to inspire and comfort people in their daily lives.

If one of my medals helps one good person to do the right thing, then my efforts will be worthwhile
